Resolution 304 authorized a $5,795 amendment to a Tectonic Engineering Consultants contract to pay for inspection services at the Hardee’s Lane tower site. Resolution 305 approved a $657,550 contract with the same vendor for design and feasibility work across several potential tower locations. Resolution 306 authorized a $4,275 amendment with Catalyst Courts and Land Records LLC to migrate the Department of Probation’s database after a failed server update; staff said the amendment covers a one‑time migration and the contract term will continue through March 2027.
“...this amendment is specifically for the inspection services for the Hardee's Lane tower site location,” Commissioner Erickson told the committee, describing the work tied to the county’s emergency communications needs.
Members then thanked Commissioner Erickson for arranging a tour of the government operations center. Erickson described the project schedule: building construction is expected to be complete by late November or December 2026, with Motorola’s installation work around the end of October and extensive commissioning and testing of 911 and radio systems expected in the first and second quarters of 2027.
Committee members expressed appreciation for the progress and then adjourned the meeting.
