The appointment came at a brief meeting called to order by Chairman Andrew Sawyer at 6:45 p.m. in the Preston Veterans Memorial School gymnasium. Vice Chairman Thomas Wright moved to appoint the firm and presented the item’s payment schedule: town financial audit $25,480; BOE financial audit $13,800; town state single audit $3,003; BOE state single audit $1,617; town federal single audit $3,754; BOE federal single audit $2,021; and BOE EFS certification $5,200, for a total of $54,875. Robert Castronova seconded the motion, and the board approved it unanimously by the members present.
The board’s roll call listed Chairman Andrew Sawyer, Vice Chairman Thomas Wright, alternate Nathanael Lee, Robert Castronova and Max Zachem as present; Zachary Maurice and Mary Gardner were recorded as excused and one seat was vacant.
