Later in the meeting the council reopened a continued abatement hearing for 4600 West End Road. Staff reported that on May 29 the property's backflow device passed tests and the nuisance has been abated; no owner testimony was present. A public commenter thanked staff for handling the matter compassionately. Council voted unanimously to terminate abatement proceedings.
