"The totality of it was 9 days from Campanella," Director Ransom said, adding the city's public-works crews ran 24-hour pumping shifts for about 11 days to bypass the collapse. Staff said the main carries flows from New Tech High School and serves roughly 400 residences.
The invoice amount stated in the meeting transcript is recorded as "104,000.741 50¢," which appears to be a transcription error; staff requested payment of the invoice as presented. The clerk called the roll and recorded 'Aye' votes from officials including Christian Fairhouse, President Reddale and Mister Barson.
Council members thanked crews and contractors for their work, noting the repairs prevented major disruption to residents.
