Robbins trustees approve two vendor quotes for Village Hall move, hold executive session on personnel

The Village of Robbins Board of Trustees approved two vendor contracts to support moving the Village Hall and later met in executive session for personnel at a special meeting Thursday evening.
Trustee Michael Collier Sr. moved to approve "CDS Quote #5111828, Village Hall IT Equipment Move services," and Trustee Thomas Harper Jr. seconded. Roll-call votes recorded ayes from Trustees David R. Dyson, Ernest Maxey Jr., Thomas Harper Jr., Chanel Kelly, Jeanneen Holmes and Michael Collier Sr.; the motion carried.
Trustee Thomas Harper Jr. then moved to approve "Comcast quote #1-29-26, for Village Hall move services," with Trustee Jeanneen Holmes seconding. The same six trustees voted in the affirmative on a roll-call vote and the motion carried.
The board recorded that there were no citizen comments during the public-comment portion of the meeting.
Later, Trustee Michael Collier Sr. moved and Trustee Jeanneen Holmes seconded that the board move into executive session for "Personnel—Section 2 (c)(1) Employee hiring, firing, compensation, discipline and performance." Roll-call ayes were recorded from Trustees David R. Dyson, Ernest Maxey Jr., Thomas Harper Jr., Chanel Kelly, Jeanneen Holmes and Michael Collier Sr.; the motion carried and the board entered executive session.
After the executive session the board reconvened on a motion by Trustee Thomas Harper Jr., seconded by Trustee Chanel Kelly. The meeting was adjourned on a motion by Trustee Ernest Maxey Jr., seconded by Trustee Jeanneen Holmes; the meeting record shows it adjourned at 8:50 PM.
