Trustees at the Village of Robbins Jan. 27 meeting approved a Midwest Salt quote for the village and voted to defer two settlement-agreement items to the Feb. 10 council meeting.
Trustee Thomas Harper moved, and Trustee Jeanneen Holmes seconded, approval of the Jan. 13, 2026 minutes; roll call ayes were David R. Dyson, Thomas Harper Jr, Michael Collier Sr, Jeanneen Holmes and Chanel Kelly, with Trustee Ernest Maxey Jr abstaining. Later, Trustee Harper moved and Trustee Chanel Kelly seconded a motion to defer two settlement agreements — listed in the minutes as items concerning Debra Buffingdon and Cameron Mendiola — to the Feb. 10 meeting; the roll call was unanimous in favor (Dyson, Maxey, Harper, Holmes, Collier, Kelly).
Trustee Jeanneen Holmes moved and Trustee Chanel Kelly seconded approval of the Midwest Salt quote; the roll call vote was recorded as ayes from Dyson, Maxey, Harper, Holmes, Collier and Kelly. Trustee Michael Collier Sr moved and Trustee Thomas Harper Jr seconded a motion to defer approval of the Rain Ready rendering and signage; roll call ayes were Dyson, Maxey, Harper, Holmes, Collier and Kelly. The meeting adjourned at 7:54 p.m. on a unanimous vote after Trustee Harper moved to adjourn and Trustees Kelly and Holmes seconded.
