Meredith said the town had identified those adjustments to carry the projects to completion and that liquidated damages in the contractor’s contract may apply if the contractor remains past an October 31 contractual date.
The board moved to authorize the controller to make the presented budget amendments; the motion was seconded and approved by roll call. Board members asked staff to confirm the town’s sole responsibility for the charges; staff said they had done so.
