Enoch City Council approved Ordinance No. 2026-05-20-B to amend parking requirements and development standards for single‑family planned unit developments (PUDs).
City Manager Ryan Robinson said staff had used recent regional examples, including a Velocity Homes proposal and Cedar City experience, to guide proposed changes. Public commenter Tyler Melling described common parking shortages resulting from driveway length and configuration rather than stall count and recommended changes that distinguish garage models from congregate lots.
The ordinance updates were intended to allow more nuanced parking calculations (for example, parking tied to bedrooms or 1.5 stalls per bedroom for certain garage models) and to address driveway and street width issues. Council directed staff to return with an unlawful parking/enforcement ordinance addressing overnight parking and public‑safety access. The roll‑call vote approved the ordinance (Council Member Shawn Stoor absent; Harris, Ley, Trower and Miner voting yes).
