On June 1 the Warrenville City Council approved the consent agenda and directed staff to present a resolution for a sanitary sewer evaluation study.
The consent agenda included: Ordinance 02026‑33 to authorize purchase of a new Morbark brush chipper and disposition of a 2019 unit; Resolution R2026‑35 approving the third amendment to Hitchcock Design Group’s professional services agreement for Cerny Park Phase 1 construction services; Resolution R2026‑36 approving the FY27 Motor Fuel Tax (MFT) street maintenance agreement; Resolution R2026‑37 approving reduction of the public improvement bond for the Prairie Cannabis Dispensary and placing the project into a two‑year maintenance period; invoice expenditures paid through 05/20/2026 totaling $185,716.34; invoices due on or before 06/02/2026 totaling $585,650.62; a vendor payment to Warm Zone LLC for $14,952.50 for in‑ground heating elements for the Manning Avenue sidewalk project; and minutes for recent council meetings.
Clerk roll call votes recorded Aye from the present aldermen and the motion carried (Alderman Lockett was absent). Council then directed staff to present a resolution approving a professional services agreement with Engineering Enterprises Inc. for an East 1 and West 4 Basin sanitary sewer evaluation study (inspection of roughly 190 manholes, combined with televising and smoke testing) and the motion carried.
No final contract construction authorization was executed at the meeting; council directed staff to prepare the resolution and contract documents for a future agenda.
