The Enumclaw City Council on May 11 unanimously approved Resolution 18-75, accepting the final plat for Sunrise Meadows, a proposed 28-lot subdivision south of Roosevelt Avenue.
City planning staff (Chris Bass) told the council the final plat satisfies conditions set by Ordinance 27-88, that streets, frontage improvements, sidewalks, utilities and other required infrastructure have been installed and accepted by the city engineer, and that performance and maintenance bonds have been posted. "Staff is recommending that the city council find that all the improvements and other requirements for final plat approval for the final map for Sunrise Meadows Subdivision have been met," the staff report said.
Council moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote. No amendments or dissent were recorded in the transcript.
Why it matters: Final plat approval allows the recorded subdivision to move forward toward lot sales and building permits, subject to compliance with the conditions and any administrative follow-up. The council's action confirms that the developer met the technical and bonding requirements established during preliminary plat approval.
Provenance: The resolution was read by the city clerk and followed by a staff report and council vote (topic introduced at SEG 474; staff report and vote through SEG 531).
