The official said the application was well prepared and reported the county added the administrative fee back into the request so neither the county nor Garrison Special would have to pay that fee. "When they do modify the easement, there's a small fee associated with that," the official said, adding the county has asked to waive that fee in the past.
Commissioners also reviewed the annual sales-tax distribution program (the first year of a 20% reduction, with a stated maximum awardable amount of $80,000). The highway official said four IGAs had been returned and were ready for approval for Selmore, Billing Special, South Florida Special and Garrison Special Road Districts; commissioners moved and approved the IGAs so funds can be distributed to those districts.
