Freiler reported receiving a $300 Bronc Callahan grant to support the summer reading program and said the U.S. Department of Justice has extended the deadline for an accessibility grant to April 2028. She also said she will attend a Selectmen's meeting to clarify the need for—and timeline to acquire—a physical key or fob for community-room users.
The director announced a $10,000 donation from the Beck Family Fund earmarked for downloadable materials; she said she is working on publicity for the donation and the library's digital offerings. Freiler also reported that work with Code Dragon has concluded and that the expense was covered by the Annual Appeal and matched by a TSB grant.
The board approved the Director's Report by unanimous motion (moved by Naomi Toftness, seconded by Debbie Janssens). The meeting record shows no public comments were offered during the public-input portion of the agenda.
