Supervisor Steve Beddetti said the board declared the subject action an unlisted action under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR) and declared itself lead agency for the review. The board directed referral and review by the Orange County Department of Planning and the Town of New Windsor Planning Board, and set a public hearing on the proposed local law for July 1, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 555 Union Avenue.
The motion to introduce the local law and set the hearing passed on roll call. Staff were authorized to publish and post notices as required by law.
