River Ridge CDD adopts loan amendment and approves $173,367.78 ditch‑cleaning contract

District Manager Chuck Adams presented Resolution 2024-05 authorizing a first amendment to the district's loan agreement with Synovus Bank to permit revised project scope and use of Series 2024 note proceeds. On a motion by Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Terry Mountford, the board adopted the resolution "with all in favor."
District Engineer Charlie Krebs presented the MRI Construction estimate and responded to questions about scope, debris removal, the weir and control structures. On a motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Mountford, the board approved the MRI estimate, recorded in the minutes as unanimous.
The board also discussed an updated McCullers Construction Services & Consulting, LLC estimate #8 to install a new well for $277,550, noting South Florida Water Management District irrigation restrictions and long-term water-use considerations; no action was taken on the well.
Other business: the board accepted unaudited financial statements as of May 31, 2024, approved the May 28, 2024 regular meeting minutes as amended, and approved a recommendation that the Fining Committee review homeowners who removed littorals from a lake bank. The board confirmed the next meeting for July 23, 2024.
