Board approves personnel pages, salary schedules and multiple supplements for 2026–27

The packet detailed numerous pay schedules and supplements: a $3,000 supplement for each exempt staff member who directly works with students at the alternative school; a 20% addition to the hourly rate for alternative-school teacher assistants for 2026–27; a $3,000 supplement for staff at the juvenile detention center (teachers and social workers); a $3,000 supplement for teachers at Magnolia; and a med-share supplement of $9.58 per special-education student. The packet also listed weekend/overnight activity pay ($60 per day overnight, $125 per day for extended weekends), substitute and PERS lists and multiple job-description updates.
Board members moved and seconded the recommendation to approve the personnel pages. The motion passed with no opposition recorded. The administration said several of the changes are effective with the 2026–27 school year; the meeting record does not show linked funding sources for each supplement or whether additional budget amendments will be required.
Trustees also approved position additions (clerical and data-support positions), summer pay requests and various hourly-pay assignments for summer programs included in the packet.
