PRESTON, Conn. — The Preston Housing Authority convened Jan. 8, 2026, and completed routine business in a six-minute meeting, approving prior minutes and authorizing payment of bills while scheduling follow-up on a CHFA grant.
Chairperson David Goss presided over the meeting and recorded attendance of board members Holly Cyr and Marie Perrin and Executive Director Carol Onderdonk. The board approved the minutes of the Nov. 13, 2025 meeting after a motion by Marie Perrin and a second from Holly Cyr.
The treasurer's report and bills were reviewed; Perrin again moved to accept the report and authorize payment of bills, Cyr seconded, and the board approved the action. The minutes record no vote tallies beyond motions being seconded and accepted.
Under old business the board noted a CHFA grant matter: a Zoom meeting with CHFA and the grant consultants is scheduled for one week from Jan. 8 to provide more information. The authority also recorded that updated lease agreements and policies are in place.
There was no new business, no executive director report presented, and no public comment. The meeting was adjourned at 4:06 p.m. on a motion by Perrin and seconded by Goss. The record states there will be no February 2026 meeting.
The next Preston Housing Authority meeting date was not specified in the minutes.
