During the March 11 meeting the Douglas County Commission filled several vacancies and made reappointments to local advisory bodies.
The board reappointed Alina Alman to the Seventh Judicial District nominating committee and confirmed Chicone Baker to the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council as the impacted-individual appointment. Commissioners also appointed Susan King (Kansas Health Foundation) to the Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health Board and Mariah Carlson to the Food Policy Council. Each motion was moved, seconded, and passed unanimously.
