On the correctional services item staff said the renewal continues a recurring program for inmate excess medical insurance and claims administration; one commissioner noted the additional coverage cost was about $1.21 per inmate per day. The board moved, seconded and approved the renewal.
The board also approved a letter of support requested by Fisher River Valley Fire to authorize a new doctor to serve as medical director after the previous Flathead County physician announced retirement; staff identified the incoming doctor (referenced from Flathead) and said Dr. Biles had overseen medical direction for two decades. Commissioners approved the signature copy for the support letter.
On claims, the board approved paying $1,385 to Site Services Solutions for septic tank pumping at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds and $10,615 to Comfort Systems for heat/AC replacement at the North Lincoln County Annex. Commissioners confirmed the HVAC work was complete before approving final payment. All consent items were approved in roll-call votes recorded during the meeting.
