The board found the rezoning consistent with the county’s land‑use blueprint and cited the county’s housing shortage as a rationale for supporting infill. The motion to adopt the ordinance carried 5–0.
The clerk’s motion text and the ordinance number contained small technical corrections on the record; the board directed staff to update the official documents accordingly.
