The Human Services Board forwarded the resolution to the County Board without a recommendation, and staff said they plan to phase staffing if needed depending on actual license uptake.
Board questions focused on whether the projected fee revenue would support the enforcement position if the number of licensed TRs declines. Staff responded that fees are projected to cover the position at current licensing levels, but they recommended using an LTE for the implementation phase and phasing in a full-time hire once revenues are known. The resolution is scheduled to appear on the board agenda for further action.
