The Dallas County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing and adopted the final plat for Bear Creek Estates, a three-lot minor subdivision on about 33.5 acres in section 22 of Union Township, located east of Old Highway 6 between Dexter and Redfield.
Planning staff told the board all three proposed lots exceed the 10-acre minimum for the agricultural zoning district, shared entrances have been approved by Secondary Roads, and the plat meets Chapter 42 (subdivision ordinance) and Chapter 45 (zoning ordinance) requirements. Conservation staff said they were not opposed but recommended confirming the presence and extent of wetlands and coordinating with appropriate agencies on wetland delineation and mitigation as work progresses.
No members of the public spoke at the hearing. The board closed the public hearing and adopted Resolution 2026-0058 to approve the final plat.
