The Pasadena Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a slate of administrative hires at a July 10 special meeting, including a new chief financial officer.
Trustee P. Gonzalez moved to approve the agenda items that included the personnel appointments; the motion was seconded by Trustee N. Suin and carried. The board introduced several newly hired district staff and campus leaders, including Patricia Reyes (licensed specialist in school psychology), Patricia Roacha (counselor, Parkview Intermediate), Beret Booker (instructional specialist, K–2, Curriculum & Instruction), AEL Diaz (assistant principal, Young Elementary), Robert Mo (student information systems coordinator, Technology Services), Christina Sapata (assistant principal, Sanino Intermediate), and Tamama Alfred Stevens (Chief Financial Officer).
Board members congratulated the hires and invited family members in the audience to be recognized. The board did not take additional action on the individual hires beyond formal approval; personnel matters listed on the agenda were discussed in closed session earlier in the meeting and confirmed in open session.
The board noted that new staff will be welcomed for the upcoming school year and that routine onboarding steps will follow.
