Dolores County approves routine fund transfers, renews liquor license and OKs $550 fuel-system software update

Clerk staff read multiple resolutions moving small program or grant balances into the general fund. Resolutions approved included a $23,362 transfer from public-health grant funds, a $21,344 transfer from fair and rodeo prize funds, transfers from the fairgrounds livestock and special funds totaling several thousand dollars, a $315 reimbursement transfer from a Southwest REAC 2024 grant account, and a $7,534.85 transfer from the conservation trust fund. Commissioners also approved transferring $75,615.50 that the county received under the town sheriff contract into the general fund; staff said a smaller fourth-quarter transfer will follow in January when the remaining payment posts.
The board approved renewal of the Groundhog Lazy Acres RV Park liquor license after the sheriff appeared and had no objections on the record. Commissioners also approved a limited maintenance agreement for the FuelMaster fuel-management system — a $550 software update intended to keep the county’s fuel-management reporting current.
All motions on these routine items were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. Several items were described as annual or occasional housekeeping transfers; none created new recurring appropriations.
