Harrison County Commissioners on March 12 adopted an order formalizing a stop sign placement at Maple Springs Road (County Road 3405) and Lancing Switch Road (County Road 3424) in Precinct 3, after a brief public hearing that drew no speakers. Staff said the sign had already been placed and the order was a housekeeping step to perfect the record; the motion passed unanimously.
The court also approved the final plat for Treetop Meadows subdivision (off US Highway 59 and Timberland Drive, County Road 2001). Staff reported the submittal met subdivision regulations, that lots front on existing Timberland Drive so no new road dedication or county maintenance was required, and that the development would add seven to eight new driveways onto the preexisting road. Commissioners approved the plat by voice vote.
Additionally, the court approved utility applications that met engineering requirements for West Harrison Water Supply, Springs Water Supply, and TGNR East Texas LLC.
