It's not set in stone," Dr. Sarin said as he presented the plan and described how it would be posted and shared publicly to keep the community informed. He said the plan centers on relationship building and addressing near-term priorities as the 2026‑27 school year begins, and that the document would provide one of multiple artifacts the board could use in his evaluation at year's end.
Board members had an opportunity to ask questions and offer feedback; the board moved to approve the entry plan, seconded and carried the motion. Administrators said the plan will be used as a basis for monitoring reports and community communication in the coming year.
The vote clears the way for Dr. Sarin to begin implementation of entry-year activities, including site visits, community forums and a public posting of milestones. Board members said they appreciated the plan's focus on transparency and look forward to monitoring progress.
