The Lincoln County commissioners voted to approve a requested extension to the final-plat filing deadline for Phase 8 of the Wilderness Club development in Eureka. Chrissy, an engineer representing the applicant, explained the multi-phase, nonsequential filing approach and said the project’s overall schedule remains on track to meet the ultimate deadline.
Staff recommended the planning board’s suggestion to allow the applicant to file Phase 8 on or before Nov. 14, 2027. A commissioner moved to approve the requested extension and another seconded; the motion passed by voice vote. One commissioner noted a past involvement as a real-estate broker and stated no conflict; no public comment was received on the item.
With the extension approved, the applicant may continue phased filings based on infrastructure and market conditions; staff will record the extension in planning files.
