Staff brought a proposal from Northwest Electric that included a full design and an installation quote of $33,525; the company waived a $760 design fee. Commissioners moved to contract with Northwest Electric and to pay the contract from PILT (Payments in Lieu of Taxes) accounts so the county can complete the work before upcoming events. A commissioner said the project is essential to avoid further safety risks and to ensure economical operation of fairgrounds services.
