Newton County approves state contracts to fund victim notification system for DA's office

Separately, the court approved a participating services agreement renewal for the vendor that operates the notification system (Contract 22223...449‑459 d01). Commissioners described the renewal as routine vendor paperwork that allows the DA's office to continue receiving the notifications service funded through the state's program.
Both motions were made and approved by voice vote. The meeting record shows motions were seconded and approved without requests for further public comment.
