Student representatives highlight start of 2024–25 school year and activities across Toms River schools

Gabriella Cova spoke as the student representative from Toms River High School North, describing a new positive-behavior medallion program and successful freshman orientation. Sophia, the High School South representative, reviewed South’s freshman activities, club participation and announced details for the homecoming dance on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The remarks were ceremonial and aimed at sharing student accomplishments with the board and community; the board thanked the student representatives before proceeding with business.
