Customs and Border Protection notifies Daniels County of northern border port hours change effective Jan. 6

Christy ClickQuarter, on speakerphone, summarized a CBP press release saying the Scobey Port of Entry will revert to historical hours beginning Jan. 6: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. from June 1 through Sept. 15, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Sept. 16 through May 31. She said CBP would forward the press release and that the agency could schedule a town hall if the county requested one.
Commissioners said they had not received formal county notification but welcomed the press release and asked staff to circulate the information. They did not schedule a town hall unless public comment indicates a need.
