Summary

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners approved a three-month extension to a lakeshore permit for a property on Glenn Lake (9 Fleming Road, Eureka) at the March 11 meeting. Planning staff told the board the permit had two components (bank stabilization/retaining wall and concrete slab placement for a lift and dock) and that winter road restrictions prevented completion of final fill materials and planting.
Staff recommended a three-month extension to June 26, 2026, noting the original permit had been issued for one year and could be renewed for valid reasons. A motion to approve the extension was moved and seconded; the board heard brief discussion and had no public commenters on the item. The motion passed by voice vote and staff was directed to notify the applicant.
Next steps: staff will notify the applicant (through their agent, Buck Sherhorn MDS) that the permit has been extended to June 26, 2026 and will update permit records.
