The Daniels County Board of Commissioners convened July 15 and administered the oath of office to a newly appointed county commissioner. The board resolved a minor agenda discrepancy about the district number shown on the agenda during the swearing-in.
After the oath the board approved the meeting agenda and authorized payment of county claims by motion and second. Staff handled several clerical items: paperwork for titling a 2019 trailer and distributing signed copies of notices of award and performance bonds.
Clerk staff said copies of signed agreements and bonds would be distributed to commissioners and retained in county files. The session recessed and then resumed for later agenda items.
