At its Jan. 14 meeting, the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution 2026-06, which acknowledges the Town of Eureka’s annexation (Town of Eureka resolution 2025-815) of a 3.25-acre tract commonly known as Creekide Mobile Home Park at 1045 Highway 93 North.
The resolution directs county staff to amend affected county records — including boundary maps, GIS data, voting precincts and fire service areas — to reflect the property’s inclusion within Eureka’s municipal limits. County staff read the resolution aloud and commissioners moved and seconded adoption after a public-comment period produced no speakers.
The annexation was adopted by the Town of Eureka on Dec. 8, 2025, and the county’s action was described as primarily administrative: the county will update official records “consistent with Montana law” and provide a recorded, signed copy of the county resolution when requested.
The board recorded the motion and carried the resolution; a member registered an opposition during the vocal roll call, but the resolution was adopted and staff will provide the signed copy to the town for election and records purposes.
