Lincoln County commissioners voted Oct. 1 to approve a final termination letter for a concession lease at Tudi Falls after staff said the operator had vacated the site.
“...we terminated the lease for the concession there at Tudi Falls and uh she’s already moved out,” Mr. Hammonds told the board when introducing the letter. The county’s attorney had recommended sending a final notice, staff said.
A commissioner moved to approve sending the termination letter; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. Commissioners said the county should craft a more specific contract for next season that defines required duties—particularly bathroom maintenance—to better serve tourism needs.
The item required the original signed document for final processing; staff said the operator had already left the premises and that housekeeping of park bathrooms would be assigned in the interim.
