Committee members described logistics for the Spring Spruce Up volunteer day and a film screening the night before.
The volunteer day is set for Saturday the 11th with sign-ups at 8 a.m. at the market, project work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a reconvene at 5 p.m. for a barbecue, live music, prizes and shuttles to work sites. Organizers said they expect roughly 100–120 volunteers based on recent years and that partners—including the city, BLM, Utah Raptor Park and local clubs—are coordinating specific projects (tree planting, weeding, adaptive-rider assistance and other tasks).
The film Best Day Ever, which highlights adaptive riding and inclusive trail design, will screen at Star Hall (doors 6:30 p.m., film at 7 p.m.) as a small-ticket event the night before the clean-up.
Organizers encouraged volunteers to sign up online and noted some shuttle capacity and site assignments will be finalized at sign-in.
