Zoning Board elects officers, approves minutes and 2026 meeting schedule

A motion to approve the minutes as distributed was made by Troutman and supported; a roll call vote recorded unanimous approval.
Ed Williams was nominated and appointed secretary by acclamation after no other nominations were offered. Robert Rosco was nominated and elected vice chair by roll call. Cliff Wilson was nominated and elected chair; the roll call recorded at least one 'no' vote from Wilson himself but a majority of members voted to approve the nomination and he was confirmed in the chair role.
The board also voted to accept the 2026 meeting schedule as submitted; a roll call vote recorded unanimous approval and the schedule was listed as published.
No contested motions or amendments were recorded during these procedural items. The board then moved into a training presentation and public-comment items.
