Laurel Killough of 30 Chapman Road addressed the Marlborough Board of Education during public comment to express concern about the length of time devoted to ensemble and lessons in the district's music program and to urge the board to consider adjustments.
Following routine reports, Board member Linda Earley moved to approve the consent agenda, which included the minutes of the Dec. 18, 2025 regular meeting, personnel actions and a monthly enrollment report. Amy Kuhrt seconded the motion and the board voted unanimously to approve the consent agenda.
At the close of the meeting, Linda Earley moved to adjourn at 8:13 p.m.; Amy Kuhrt seconded and the motion carried unanimously. No further public comment or formal action on the music program was recorded in the Jan. 22 minutes.
