Board names three tow companies for police rotation

"Tonight, I would like to recommend for the board to maintain 3 tow firms as vendors for the police department," Zormoz said, naming Stan's Towing, Tom and Ed's Towing and Hansen's Towing. The chair called for a motion; the board approved the recommendation 4-0.
Chief Zormoz said he had met with the firms to present the tow-service agreement and to confirm compliance. The motion was carried without roll-call; board members noted roll-call votes are reserved for contested items or remote participation with a dissenting vote.
Next steps: the department will proceed with the approved rotation under the council's previously adopted ordinance.
