Sandra Boudreaux of AECOM updated the commission on the Price Boulevard project at the Blue Ridge Waterway, saying crews are pouring the second wall of a double-barrel box culvert and must allow the concrete to cure before stripping the form and building the top of the structure.
"We are here on Price Boulevard at the Blue Ridge Waterway in which we are building the box culvert…we are currently pouring the 2nd wall of the structure. That wall's gotta cure, and then we can strip form," Boudreaux said, and added that earthwork and roadway construction will follow the culvert work. She described the project as early in the construction schedule and directed residents to the Price Boulevard project webpage for updates.
