At its April 27 meeting the City of Lawrenceville City Council approved a set of procurement actions affecting streets, trails and cemetery access.
City Engineer Eranildo Lustosa Alves Junior presented three capital projects for award. Council awarded the Collins Industrial Way Traffic Safety and Operational Improvements contract to CMC, Inc., not to exceed $1,096,490.98, and authorized execution subject to City Attorney review. The Lawrenceville Gateway Trail Trailhead contract was awarded to CGS Inc. for an amount not to exceed $777,322.21. The Old Shadowlawn Cemetery Access Improvements Project was awarded to DCBC LLC for up to $111,111.00. All three awards were approved unanimously.
Chief Financial Officer Keith Lee presented Change Order 2 for Power Pole Replacement Service (SB015-22), increasing the contract to an amount not to exceed $635,980.69 with Over and Under General Contractors, Inc.; the council approved the increase and instructed staff to prepare final documents for City Attorney review prior to execution.
Each contract award and change order was recorded as approved with unanimous votes by the mayor, mayor pro-tem and three council members. The minutes record that contract executions are contingent on City Attorney review and standard administrative steps before final signature.
