The district clerk announced that voters approved the district budget and three bond propositions and reported the vote totals at a certification meeting. "We have the results from the school district budget and election," the district clerk said and read the tallies for each measure.
The district clerk reported the results as follows: budget proposition — yes 475, no 95; Bond Proposition 1 — yes 431, no 130; Proposition 2 — yes 398, no 211; Bond Proposition 3 (indoor athletic facility) — yes 341, no 226. The clerk also read board candidate totals: Kimberly (Kim) Royal 348, Emily Agnello 334 and John Ryan 309. When asked who won, the clerk responded, "Emily and Kim."
The chair asked for a motion to accept a consolidated resolution memorializing those tallies. After a motion was made, the board carried the resolution by voice vote. "Can I have a motion to accept the resolution?" the chair asked; following the vote the chair said, "We're passing carried on that."
A participant then moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded and the board voted to adjourn. The chair closed the meeting with brief congratulations to "Ken." No further actions or pending follow-ups were specified during the session.
