Planning board moves forward with lot-line modification for 189 Further Lane after zoning variances

The East Hampton Planning Board on Oct. 9 agreed to advance consideration of a lot-line modification affecting parcels at 189 Further Lane and 74 Cross Highway after the applicants reported they had secured variances from the zoning board.
Elizabeth Baldwin, who identified herself as present for the applicants, told the board, “So we are here again before the planning board seeking our lot line modification,” and said the required variances had been granted by the zoning board. Chair Driscoll said staff had no outstanding concerns and that the board had no questions.
Following that exchange, Chair Driscoll indicated the board was prepared to move the matter forward and said a resolution would be prepared for the next meeting to formalize the action. No formal vote on the lot-line modification was recorded at the Oct. 9 meeting; the board scheduled the next step as the presentation of a resolution at a subsequent session.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved the minutes from its June 12, 2025 meeting by voice vote. The short meeting concluded after a motion and second to adjourn were approved by voice vote.
