Staff reported that during calendar year 2025 the city issued permits for 161 residential units, including 47 multifamily units; the remainder were townhomes or two-over-two units and one single-family detached unit was noted. Staff also summarized that the commission approved just over 1,000 residential units at the site-plan level and nearly 800,000 square feet of potential new research-and-development and office space across two applications.
The staff liaison said the Mayor and Council are continuing work on the zoning ordinance and comprehensive map amendment and scheduled adoption for June 29, with recent and upcoming work sessions to review articles 9 through 13. Commissioners said they wanted the report—s map updated and reserved the opportunity to submit edits; staff agreed to include the final map before forwarding.
A commissioner moved to approve the annual report, including noted changes and updates; another commissioner seconded and the motion passed.
