At its May 21 meeting the Clinton County Board of Commissioners approved multiple routine administrative items, including contract renewals, grant acceptance, municipal liquid fuels allocations and personnel actions.
Contracts approved included a one-year maintenance renewal with United Power and Battery for a server-room UPS at $5,640; a one-year renewal with Moore Field Communications for maintenance of the single-wire/Formocast notification system at $2,640; and a VMware Horizon licensing renewal through CDW for 10 user licenses at $1,407.68. The board also approved a professional services agreement with the local Council of Governments for environmental review services tied to the Home Investment Partnerships program, noting the need to complete NEPA and Section 106 reviews for project compliance.
The board approved acceptance of the 2026–2028 Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) covering the period 10/01/2026–09/30/2028 in the amount of $43,270.
County liquid fuels allocations were approved as presented, with the agenda listing a total liquid fuels pool of $25,000 and specific line items including City of Lock Haven ($1,500) and township allocations such as Green Township ($20,000) and West Keating Township ($19,975) for roadway and ADA improvements.
Personnel actions approved by the commissioners included promotion of Charlie Bloom to district manager for the Conservation District effective 04/20/2026 at an annual salary of $52,523.09; lateral transfer of Rebecca Reed to care coordinator in Children and Youth Services effective 05/26/2026 with no salary change; hiring of Sydney Aragale as a caseworker effective 05/26/2026 at an annual salary of $41,980; acceptance of resignations for Erin Tripp and part-time dispatcher Brian Woloyce; approval of Skyler Young’s resignation as a Juvenile Probation Officer effective 05/29/2026; and appointment of Amber Royer as an unpaid summer intern for Emergency Services effective 05/26/2026.
All listed motions were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote unless otherwise noted. Where roll-call votes were recorded later by the Salary Board for salary increases, the transcript indicates affirmative votes by the three commissioners present.
