The board invited a guest, Tom, to offer brief remarks. "I just hope everybody gets good judgment on the road the whole year. Be safe out there and watch for the other drivers," Tom said.
Commissioners thanked Tom for attending and encouraged residents to drive carefully during the warmer months as motorcycle traffic increases. The proclamation was read on the record and approved by the board; no formal vote tally beyond the roll-call approval was recorded in the transcript.
The board moved on to a full consent agenda after the proclamation and no further public debate on the subject was recorded.
