Dodge County approves $13,343 behavioral health contract with Community Service Board of Middle Georgia

The Dodge County Board of Commissioners voted April 7 to approve an annual Behavioral Health Contract with the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia that commits $13,343 from the county for the July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026 fiscal year.
Commissioner Leigh Ann Greene moved to approve the contract and Commissioner Brian Watkins seconded; all commissioners voted in favor and the motion passed. The contract specifies that the county’s contribution will be paid in 12 monthly installments of $1,111.91 and that services will be provided in compliance with state and federal standards promulgated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
The agreement, described in the contract text presented to the board, covers diagnosis, evaluation and appropriate treatment services and alcohol services for Dodge County residents who are suitable for referral. The contract text states the services shall be rendered without regard to number and that the county’s contribution is nonreimbursable at the end of the fiscal year.
The board did not attach additional conditions or amendments to the contract during the meeting. The measure was approved as presented; the contract will take effect on July 1, 2025, and run through June 30, 2026.
