The council moved and approved Resolution 25-22 (Buckley Park restroom modernization project) and Resolution 25-23 (Preston Blackman Park lower-level restroom construction) by roll call. Councilors noted that design work gives the city a clearer cost picture even if the grant is not awarded.
The council also asked staff to ensure projects meet ADA requirements and incorporate necessary drainage and parking improvements tied to restroom replacements. Staff said the planning firm Mills Goodwin (Mills Catwood referenced in the record) will continue work on park master plans and designs for additional park projects.
