Council members expressed support for the grants as community-building funds that enable smaller events to operate. The chair called for a vote; recorded roll-call responses were 'Yes' from Council member Harris, Council member Marsh, Council member Miller, Council member Massell and the mayor, and the resolution passed.
The resolution directs staff to disburse the awarded grants, obtain required accounting information from recipients where necessary, and report any follow-up documentation to the finance office.
