Park district endorses park-overlay zoning in public comment

"The Park District respects the Planning Commission's deliberations on April 9... we are particularly encouraged by the proposed overlay zoning district, which would enable specific development standards," Keogh said, and noted a letter from the Park District's board chair was on the record. Keogh offered the district's planning and technical expertise to help draft standards and implementation language.
The commission acknowledged receipt of the Park District materials and thanked Keogh for offering staff support. The comment was entered during the public-comment portion of the regular business meeting; no formal action was taken at that time beyond placing the letter on the record.
