San Juan County FAC approves minutes and discusses bylaws and county code guidance

After hearing the WSF and advocacy presentations, the San Juan County Ferry Advisory Committee returned to housekeeping. McVey said some committees still adopt bylaws to address local specifics — for example, tiebreaker voting by a chair when a recommendation is sent to council — and recommended the FAC keep any rules simple and aligned with the RCW and county code.
Swanson said she would carry over the annual position votes (chair, vice-chair, secretary) to the next meeting now that the FAC has a full membership roster. The committee agreed to vote on positions at the next regular meeting.
